{"id":1473,"date":"2022-10-27T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-27T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/100.100.1.1\/ifod-stage\/en\/uncategorized\/the-freedom-of-expression-for-young-lawyers-program-was-held-online-in-october-2022\/"},"modified":"2026-08-09T22:23:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T19:23:08","slug":"the-freedom-of-expression-for-young-lawyers-program-was-held-online-in-october-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ifade.org.tr\/en\/news\/the-freedom-of-expression-for-young-lawyers-program-was-held-online-in-october-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"The \u201cFreedom of Expression for Young Lawyers\u201d program was held online in October 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\">Freedom of Expression Association (\u0130F\u00d6D) conducted another one of its core capacity development programs, titled &#8220;Freedom of Expression for Young Lawyers&#8221; with a new group online on 24-27 October 2022.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">A total of <strong>34 young people from 13 different cities<\/strong>, consisting of lawyers, civil society, and media workers, attended the program implemented under the support of The Swedish Consulate General Fund. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">This program aims to raise awareness of young lawyers on the internet and freedom of expression (FoX), international standards of FoX, together with internet and freedom of expression-related practices, breaches, and efforts in Turkey.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The content of the program is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International Standards for Freedom of Expression &#8211; An Overview of Freedom of Expression in Turkey<\/li>\n<li>Access Blocking Practises in the Light of \u201cEngelliWeb\u201d Data &#8211; Internet, Social Media and Freedom of Expression<\/li>\n<li>National Security, Protection of Public Safety &amp; Freedom of Expression<\/li>\n<li>Conflicting Rights: Freedom of Expression vs. Personal Rights &#8211; Defamation of the President and Freedom of Expression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Freedom of Expression Association (\u0130F\u00d6D) conducted another one of its core capacity development programs, titled &#8220;Freedom of Expression for Young Lawyers&#8221; with a new group online on 24-27 October 2022.
