He also drew attention to decisions targeting social media accounts, bandwidth throttling and the damage caused to public memory by rendering online news archives inaccessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citing restrictions targeting Ekrem \u0130mamo\u011flu\u2019s accounts, journalists and the accounts of the \u201c\u0130stanbul Yarg\u0131l\u0131yor\u201d platform, \u00c7ak\u0131r\u00f6zer called for a parliamentary inquiry commission to investigate the effects of digital censorship.
