Halk TV reported on the access blocks targeting Ekrem İmamoğlu’s YouTube channel and the Presidential Candidate Office X account, drawing on EngelliWeb announcements.
The report, broadcast on 17 July 2026, noted that the decision targeting the YouTube channel with 787.000 subscribers and the X account with 222.000 followers was issued on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order”. At the time of the broadcast, neither account had yet been withheld from view in Türkiye by the relevant platforms.
