Sözcü TV covered the access block targeting Ekrem İmamoğlu’s X account, drawing on an EngelliWeb announcement.
The broadcast reported that access to the account, which had 9.7 million followers, had been blocked under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651 on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order”, and that X had withheld the account from view in Türkiye.
