EngelliWeb data were cited by CHP Eskişehir MP Utku Çakırözer during a speech on internet censorship in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.

Çakırözer stated that more than 575,000 domain names had been blocked by the end of 2021, alongside 150,000 news URLs and 55,000 social media posts. He also criticised the blocking of EngelliWeb itself. The earlier figures are available in the EngelliWeb 2021 report, while the later decision is documented in the EngelliWeb notice.
