The Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD) and Human Rights Watch issued a joint statement calling on the Turkish authorities to restore access to Instagram. The statement said that the blanket block imposed on August 2, 2024 violated the rights to freedom of expression and access to information for millions of users.
