The Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD), ARTICLE 19 and Human Rights Watch issued a joint statement calling on YouTube to reverse its decision to appoint a local representative in Türkiye. The organizations warned that the decision could increase arbitrary censorship and undermine privacy and access to information.
