Sözcü TV covered the access block targeting journalist Devrim Gürkan’s post concerning appointments at RTÜK and Türk Telekom, drawing on an EngelliWeb announcement.
The broadcast reported that Mehmet Daniş had been elected Chair of RTÜK and that former chair Ebubekir Şahin had shortly afterwards been appointed CEO of Türk Telekom. It noted that Gürkan had posted information concerning these appointments on X before they were announced.
