Citing EngelliWeb, the article stated that at least 85 accounts had been blocked. It also referred to criticism by Professor Yaman Akdeniz, a co-founder of İFÖD, who said that X claimed to defend freedom of expression while arbitrarily censoring student and civil society accounts.
