Sözcü TV covered the access blocks targeting Ekrem İmamoğlu’s Presidential Candidate Office X account and the continuation account used after its username was changed, drawing on EngelliWeb announcements.
The November 2025 broadcast reported that access to the account, which had 335,000 followers, had been blocked under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651 on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order”. It noted that a further decision followed after the account continued under a changed username.
