Tele2 covered the third access block imposed on journalist Furkan Karabay’s X account in approximately eight months, drawing on EngelliWeb announcements.
The December 2025 report recalled that Karabay had been released on 2 December after spending 201 days in detention. It reported that access to his account had again been blocked under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651 on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order”.
