- 13 Kasım: CBAdayOfisi kullanıcı adlı hesap İstanbul 10. Sulh Ceza Hakimliğinin 13 Kasım 2025 tarihli ve 2025/11774 sayılı kararıyla erişime engellenmişti.
- 14 Kasım: Engellemenin ardından hesabın adı CBAdayOfisi1 olarak değiştirilmişti, ancak bu hesap adı da 14 Kasım 2025’te aynı gerekçeyle erişime engellenmişti. X platformu hesabı Türkiye’den görünmez kılmamıştı.
- 16 Kasım: Hesap ismi CBAdayOfisi11 olarak yeniden değiştirildi, fakat bu hesap da 16 Kasım 2025’te yine millî güvenlik ve kamu düzeninin korunması gerekçesiyle erişime engellendi. X platformu hesabı Türkiye’den görünmez kılmamıştı.
- Ekrem İmamoğlu’nun 9,7 milyon takipçili X hesabı (ekrem_imamoglu), yine millî güvenlik ve kamu düzeninin korunması gerekçesiyle İstanbul 8. Sulh Ceza Hakimliğinin 24 Nisan 2025 tarihli ve 2025/4361 sayılı kararıyla erişime engellenmişti ve X platformu hesabı Türkiye’den görünmez kılmıştı.
- Uluslararası X hesabı (imamoglu_int) ise Mayıs 2025’te yine aynı gerekçeyle erişime engellenmişti ve X platformu hesabı Türkiye’den henüz görünmez kılmadı.
The X account of the Ekrem İmamoğlu Presidential Campaign Office was blocked (blocked three times; details below) pursuant to Article 8/A of Law No. 5651, citing the protection of national security and public order. Consequently, the X platform withheld the account in Türkiye.
- November 13: The account named CBAdayOfisi was blocked by the Istanbul 10th Criminal Peace Court’s decision dated November 13, 2025, numbered 2025/11774.
- November 14: After the block, the account name was changed to CBAdayOfisi1, but this account name was also blocked on November 14, 2025, for the same reason. The X platform did not withhold the account in Türkiye.
- November 16: The account name was changed again to CBAdayOfisi11, but this account was also blocked on November 16, 2025, citing the protection of national security and public order. The X platform did not withhold the account in Türkiye.
Previously, Ekrem İmamoğlu‘s X account (ekrem_imamoglu), was blocked from access by the decision of the Istanbul 8th Criminal Judgeship of Peace on April 24, 2025, pursuant to Article 8/A of Law No. 5651, citing the protection of national security and public order. As a result, the X platform withheld the account in Türkiye.
Also, Ekrem İmamoğlu’s international X account (imamoglu_int) was blocked in May 2025 pursuant to Article 8/A of Law No. 5651, citing the protection of national security and public order. X has not yet withheld the account in Türkiye.
